Nacra Catamaran

Announcing the new addition to the sailing school fleet this season, the Nacra 16 foot play cat. The boat is a resin hull and comes with a trapeze and a jib. The play cats are coming to the club as a part of a special program from the good people at faster boats, Ontario’s Nacra dealer. The boats will be used in the sailing school and will be available for members to try. There will be 4 boats in total and they should all have arrived at the club in early June. Conestoga will be competing in the Ontario championships with the newly founded play cat fleet in July. There will also be a play cat start line at the warm water regatta June 9th and 10th.

Sailing School Registration is Online

New for this season, the Conestoga Sailing School will be accepting on-line registrations via the registration page on our website. The sailing club has partnered with pay-pal to enable students and members to securely purchase sailing lessons with a credit card or a pay-pal account. The paper registration forms are also still available for anyone wishing to pay with a cheque as in past seasons. On-line Registration will be open until 2 days before the start of a sailing school session. If you would like to register after on-line registration is closed please email registration@kwsailing.org and call the club between 9:00AM and 4:00PM The goal of the on-line registration pages is to make registration more convenient for our students and free up our volunteer hours for other projects. The sailing club and sailing school registration is run by 100% volunteer effort.

If you have any questions about the sailing school programs and registration please feel free to contact us at registration@kwsailing.org

Canada Post Strike

The Canada post strike will affect the registrations of the sailing school since it is the primary means by which we collect registrations and payment.
In the event the mail service in our region is completely stopped. The sailing school will make accommodations to collect registrations by other means. You can email your registration information toregistration@kwsailing.org saving a spot in a session. We can then collect the cheque on the first day of School. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask 519-638-5241 and sailingschool@kwsailing.org.
